Advanced Clinical Concepts in Aeromedical Evaluation

Overview

ACCAE teaches the unique hazards evacuation and flight may have on the wounded patient.  This course is through the US Air Force and USTRANSCOM; we travel to Ohio to get this teaching.  You will learn about the history of patient movement, then quickly fast forward to our current capabilities with Air Mobility Command, the role of the Clearing Flight Surgeon, and the many nuances of transporting patients of different flavors.  This is a one-week course.
